Poems by English Poet Irene Rutherford McLeod [1891- 1968] 

"She was in fact English, not Australian [as had been reported], and was born in Croydon, Surrey, England, on 21st August 1891, to Frederick Henry McLeod (originally of Southampton, England) and Anna Karolina Haubennestel (originally of Switzerland).  She died in 1968, was my grandfather's first cousin, and had 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister. Rutherford is an old family name from her great-grandmother (father's mother's mother)  --  Helen Warburg, nee McLeod., 27th October, 2009.
